1. Hold your row of stitches in your left hand
2. Insert your right needle into the first stitch.
Slide your right hand needle into the first stitch on your left hand needle.
3. Wrap your yarn around the back of the right hand needle

Wrap the yarn down so its sitting between the two needles.
Pull the yarn through the stitch using your right needle

Slide the first stitch off your left hand needle.
You have just completed your first knit stitch! Continue to the end of your row.
