Boxy Jacket Knitting Pattern

Simple and classic boxy jacket cardigan

The Boxy jacket is a chunky, boxy-shaped jacket knitting pattern with the option and instructions to add buttons if you would like. This is an Intermediate knitting pattern for those knitters who enjoy a simple and quick project. This pattern has two options for finishing, either with or without button holes and buttons.  

Very quick to complete, knitted flat on straight needles and seamed.

This pattern is knitted with an incredibly soft and cosy Chaska Alpaca Air 12 ply (80% Baby Alpaca & 20% Acrylic )

Techniques you will need to know (or learn as you go) are :

• cast on
• knit
• purl
• 1x1 rib
• cast off.

MATERIALS REQUIRED

• 12mm needles + 8mm needles
• Chaska 50g  Alpaca Air Yarn, 80% Alpaca + 20% Acrylic
• Yarn required : 8 balls for size XS, 10 x balls for sizes S/M and 12 balls for sizes L/XL)
• Tapestry Needle
• Measuring Tape
  
• 5 x 25mm Buttons if you wish to add these to your jacket.
