- Needles: 8 mm (US 11) straight knitting needles (30 cm / 12 in)
 - Yarn: 2 x 50 g balls of 12 ply mohair & possum yarn (total 100 g / 200 m / 219 yd)
 
OR leftover assorted 12 ply yarn totalling 100 g / 200 m / 219 yd
