- 12 mm (US 17) straight needles needles (30 cm / 12 in)

Yarn: Chaska Alpaca Air 12 Ply 50g (100 m / 109 yds)
- 8 (10, 10, 12, 12) balls
- 5 x 25mm / 1" buttons of your choice.

9 sts x 12 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm (4 in x 4 in) in stocking stitch using 12 mm (US 17) needles and two strands of yarn held together.
We advise you to make a knitting sample before you start. If it takes fewer stitches and rows to make a 10 cm (4 in) square, try smaller needles; if more, try larger needles.
